This Spring, Chester Cathedral is host to a major exhibition of contemporary mosaic, ‘Constellations’, curated especially for this space. We’ll spend a morning with these artworks and their inspirations.

We’ll visit the exhibition and hear from Cathedral Artist-in-Residence and Co-Curator of the exhibition Aleta Doran, who will speak a little of the inspiration of the Cathedral setting and the starry skies - the vault of the Cathedral roof and the ‘heavenly vault’ of the night skies. Returning to our base in Abbey Square, we’ll have coffee and then conversation about our own responses to what the morning has shown us and the wonder of it. No expertise in artistic appreciation required!!
