Saturday 19th September 2026 - Let’s meet!
Free tea and coffee at the Storyhouse as we meet to greet, catch up, exchange views and more
9.30am-11.30am in the cafe section
Monday 21st September 2026 - Inspired by Matthew
A chance to learn together from Matthew, and asking what he has to say to this generation. A seminar with opportunities to reflect, and even to practice! 10.30am at St Mary’s Church Centre, Handbridge, aiming to finish by 12noon.
Tuesday 22nd September 2026 - Setting about a spiritual review
An evening looking together at a variety of measures we might use to help us assess the wide range of aspects of our lives that we might broadly label “spiritual”.
The evening will be held at Mission House, Cornwall Street Chester, and will be led by Paul Towner. Starting at 7.30pm we will end by 9pm
Wednesday 23rd September 2026 - Labyrinth
Another afternoon at the Wesley church centre, St John Street, starting at 2pm, where Heather Walker will lead us through the richness that the labyrinth can bring to our meditation and prayer.
Wednesday 23rd September 2026 - Evening Prayer
Following our usual monthly pattern, based on the Northumbria Community prayers, and with time for corporate prayer and silence. This will be via a zoom link.
Thursday 24th September 2026 - Passions of the soul
A morning, starting at 10.30am at the Quaker Centre, Frodsham Street, and led by Carole Burgess, looking together at the book “Passions of the soul”
Friday 25th September 2026 - Conversation
Led by our chairman Rob Croft, this will be an open session around the topic of “***"
The meeting will be at ***, and start at 10.30am, ending by 12noon
Saturday 26th September 2026 - a writing workshop
Using the well-known skills of Julia McGuiness, we will spend time together at St Mary’s Church Centre, Handbridge, beginning at 10.30am and ending by 12noon.
