A chance every couple of months to share responses to books on spirituality, both classic and contemporary.
For September, our book is ‘David’s Crown: Sounding the Psalms’ by Malcolm Guite. Take time with some poetry over the summer, dipping in and out. We’ll share our responses gently and with a little guidance, with no expectation that we’ll have read them all.
‘The Psalms express every human emotion with disarming honesty; all of life, with its blessings and its times of despair and shame, is found in them… This collection of one hundred and fifty new poems responds to each of the Psalms, and allows these ancient words to speak to our own condition.’ Canterbury Press
