A chance every couple of months to share responses to books on spirituality, both classic and contemporary.

In March, the invitation is to read in Lent ‘Jesus; the teacher within’ by Laurence Freeman, Director of the World Community for Christian Meditation and whom we were glad to welcome for a day with us last October. This book takes as its starting point the question Jesus asks; ‘Who do you say I am?’ and explores this in a reflection ‘from the heart of Christian contemplative traditions - with boldness, wit and calm’ (Rowan Williams).

The hope is that you will have read your own copy of the book (or most of it!) before the session. Our Book Club sessions are lightly guided, to help us with sharing our responses.
