A chance every six weeks or so to share responses to books on spirituality, both classic and contemporary.

The book for July’s meeting is ‘God of Surprises’ by Gerard W. Hughes, a highly popular late-twentieth century work, with the blurb ‘Jesus said “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field.” This book has only one purpose: to suggest ways of finding the treasure in what we may consider a most unlikely field - ourselves.
