With Gillian Coxhead & Matt Blake OCD

A day of reflection for Lent drawing from the wells of the contemplative, mystical tradition. Spanish mystic Teresa of Avila said, 'The Lord excludes no one, he calls us publicly, crying aloud “Let anyone who is thirsty come..." '  This day will reflect on how the mystical tradition can have resonance for us all, even in the midst of a busy life.

Gillian and Matt are both popular retreat givers in contemplative spirituality, drawing especially on the Carmelite tradition.  Gillian is on the team at Tabor, a Carmelite retreat house in Preston, and is also an A&E nurse.  Matt is a Carmelite friar based at Boar’s Hill near Oxford.
