Book Club

Thank you - the November Book Club gathering is now fully booked. Check back here for news of the next session.

A chance every six weeks or so to share responses to books on spirituality, both classic and contemporary.

The book for November’s meeting is ‘Living on the Border - Reflections on the Experience of Threshold’ by Esther de Waal.

“I just love this beautiful book. A lifetime’s devotion to the magic and mystery of Celtic wisdom lies between its covers. It is earthy and unsentimental, at times astonishing and overwhelming, and always reverent and loving. It is a sacramental meditation, an incarnational poem, playing on the borders between nature and grace, in the world of our heart, and in the heart of our world.” Daniel O’Leary

The hope is that you will have read your own copy of the book (or most of it!) before the session. Our Book Club sessions are lightly guided, to help us with sharing our responses.

10.30am - 12noon (with coffee 10 - 10.20am) - places are limited, so please let us know by email or phone that you will be coming - donations on the door (£5 suggested)
