Retreat House Chester believes that ancient Christian spiritual wisdom has much to offer the modern quest for spirituality. Contemplative practice is finding popularity today in many forms: this day will explore what that means.
Shaun Lambert is a Baptist minister and trained counsellor & psychotherapist, who is well-respected for his special interest in mindfulness, and regularly leads retreats. Ged Johnson works at St Beuno’s Jesuit Spirituality Centre, nr St Asaph, working in Ignatian spirituality; he is also a trustee of Retreat House Chester. Gillian Coxhead is on the team at Tabor Carmelite Retreat House, Preston, and works widely on Carmelite spirituality, as well as being a nurse in a busy A&E department.
