Retreat House Chester hopes to be an accessible resource for stillness and spirituality in the city, offering ways of retreating that fit with contemporary daily living while rooted in ancient Christian wisdom. This evening will suggest how we can explore meaning and mystery in life as we live it.

Margaret Silf is an internationally-known writer and retreat leader whose work explores spirituality in our lives.  Her new book ‘Sacred in the City’ uncovers the shimmer of the sacred in the familiar places of everyday city living.
