Evenings of input and conversation on reflective living, and always drawing on local living. Come and explore things that matter.
Our theme for November - our last Hub of 2017 - is WONDER. The introduction, from Mike Kirby, will ask what 'wonder' means in a personal life of science and faith. Where might the exhilarating, the challenging and the reflective aspects of ‘wonder’ be found within such fields? The Revd Dr Mike Kirby will offer his own viewpoints and life-long experiences, as a gentle example of finding the ‘wonder’ in each, and our own reflective conversation will follow.
Mike Kirby is a university lecturer in Radiotherapy Physics, an ex-consultant clinical scientist in cancer therapy, an ex-hospital chaplain and a priest in the Church of England (presently a priest-vicar at Chester Cathedral).
